“You’ll never have a job” – Brandon Jennings claps back at Tyrese Haliburton and Jayson Tatum’s trainer Drew Hanlen

Brandon Jennings slammed Tyrese Haliburton and Jayson Tatum’s trainer, Drew Hanlen, for his training methods. On Sunday, NBA Central shared a video from WatchPlayback on their X account.

The video featured Gil’s Arena crew talking about Hanlen when Jennings erupted in a rant about the trainer’s methods. The former Bucks player specifically targeted the group chat method Hanlen uses to keep his clients motivated.

“As a trainer, I am paying you to motherfu***** train me why are you putting me in a group chat,” Jennings said. “He said Jayson Tatum was in a group chat with Embiid, f*** Embiid! I pay you to make me great. You over here talking about why I don’t have an MVP or Embiid, you’ll never have a ring, motherf****** you’ll never have a job again.”

The former Bucks player was angry at Tyrese Haliburton's trainer after Drew Hanlen revealed some of his training techniques to The Athletic in an interview last week.

Jennings did not like Hanlen's method as he advocated for the training to be more individual and focused on the client instead of getting to know other players' progress or sharing his progress with the opponents they are bound to face on the court.

He admitted that he would not want the motivation and made a sarcastic comment about the group chat coming in with the training package. The crew asked Gilbert Arenas, who was also present in the discussion about having group chats during his time in the NBA, and the former Warriors player deflected the question by revealing that he used to have a BlackBerry.

Tyrese Haliburton's coach Drew Hanlen claps back at Brandon Jennings' provocation

The beef between Brandon Jennings and Drew Hanlen has been running for a while now. Apart from his rant in front of the Gil's Arena crew, the former Bucks player had made more comments on Hanlen's method on his X account.

He made a tweet comparing the skills trainer to Rob McClanaghan, another famous trianer with big-name clients.

"I’m reading this article on how Drew Hanlen puts his guys in “Text Chain” to tell them they won’t do this or this guy is better and etc. weird and stupid. I said this earlier in the year to much buddy buddy when it comes to that guy. I’m sorry but Robmac would never have Drose ,KD, Westbrook, Klove, and etc all in text chain saying who can’t win MVP!!!! GTFOH!!!!"

Tyrese Haliburton's trainer initially did not respond to these provocations, but when Jenning called him out again in another tweet where he called him a groupie, he clapped back at the former Bucks player with statistics.

"I’m getting two of my clients (Haliburton & Holmgren) ready for the finals so don’t have time to waste on your dumba** takes," Hanlen tweeted. "Side note: Maybe if your trainer would talked s**t to you, you wouldn’t have shot 37% from the field & 23% from 3 in the playoffs while never winning s**t.

Neither Tyrese Haliburton nor Hanlen's other clients, like Jayson Tatum or Chet Holmgren, have said anything on the matter.
