LiAngelo Ball and his girlfriend, Rashida Nicole, hit the BET Awards red carpet together on Sunday. While posing for pictures, a reporter asked Ball to kiss Nicole. However, Ball wasn’t willing to engage in any PDA and walked away from the spot. A clip of this interaction was shared on Instagram by The Shade Room, and Rashida Nicole is not happy about it.

Rashida Nicole took offense to the Shade Room’s tactics and slammed them in the post’s comment section.

“Yall always be on petty ish! We did soo much other stuff in that interview and Halle ant to clip this… but that’s what I expect from the @theshaderoom,” Nicole wrote.

“Yall asked us to kiss of all things on red carpet, randomly! I know my man he ain’t doing that ish! Save all the negativity & weird ish!”

For the longest time, LiAngelo Ball tried to make it into the NBA and play alongside his brothers, LaMelo and Lonzo. Unfortunately, despite his repeated attempts, he fell short of his goal and left the league without ever playing in an official game. Fortunately, he has managed to find a path for himself after releasing one of the hottest hip-hop tracks of 2025.
