LA Lakers guard Bronny James was in disbelief on Saturday, as his brother, Bryce James, turned 18 on Saturday. The Arizona Wildcats commit entered adulthood, much to his brother’s surrpise.
Born in 2007, Bryce, like his father and brother, is looking to pave his way to the NBA. He spent the last season with Sierra Canyon, winning the CIF Division I state championship.
Bronny’s reaction to Bryce turning 18 came after their mother, Savannah James, shared a birthday post for Bryce on Instagram. The mother of three captioned it with a short birthday wish.
"18 is CRRAAAAAAZZYY!!!🥹🥹Happiest Birthday Bryce Maximus!! 🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉🎈🎈," Savannah wrote.

Lakers rookie Bronny commented on his mom's post.
"Nah, 18 is nuts 😭❤️," Bronny commented.
Bryce James reacted to his mom's birthday wish with love.
"❤️❤️❤️❤️," he reacted.

Once playing on the same team at Sierra Canyon, the two brothers have since set out on their respective paths. While Bronny has made it to the NBA after joining the Trojans in Southern California, Bryce has chosen to play for the Wildcats under the stewardship of Tommy Lloyd.
Signing with Arizona in April, Bryce will look to make an instant impact with the team, as the Wildcats look to break their Sweet Sixteen curse.
Bronny James offers valuable advice to his younger brother
After the LA Lakers' 118-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in March, Bronny James offered valuable advice to his younger brother, Bryce James.
During the post-game interview, Bronny offered his take on his little brother's basketball journey and his role as an elder brother.
"With your younger brother winning the state championship and you being at this stage in your basketball career, I'm just wondering how your advice as an older brother has evolved," the reporter questioned.
Bronny expressed his thoughts on Bryce:
"The main thing I'd like to push to him is just having fun. Work hard, don’t take it for granted because there are a lot of people that want to be in our spot."
Bronny James' appearance with the media came after their loss to the Bucks at the Crypto.com Arena. Despite the defeat, he had an impressive outing, recording 17 points and five assists in 30 minutes.
