In his NBA Finals debut Thursday, Haliburton managed to come up big for the Pacers when it mattered most. Trailing by as many as 15 points early in the fourth quarter, Indiana refused to roll over. Instead, they managed to claw their way back and make things a toss-up in the final minutes.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had an opportunity to close things out for the OKC Thunder, but couldn’t get a mid-range jumper to fall with roughly 10 seconds to go. Upon gathering the miss, the Pacers quickly got the ball to Tyrese Haliburton. Just before time expired, he rose up over Cason Wallace for a mid-ranger of his own to seal the victory 111-110 victory for Indiana.
