“I helped him get over the top” – Paul Pierce makes bombshell claim about influencing LeBron James’ game in 45-point performance

LeBron James’ rise to being one the greatest NBA players is well documented and Paul Pierce was one of his biggest adversaries during the early 2010s. While James has never acknowledged that Pierce pushed him to greatness, the latter believes he had a hand in pushing James “over the top.”

In an appearance on the “The Schmo and the Pro” on Monday, Pierce claimed that he played a substantial part in making James the legend he is today (0:13):

“I had a couple of playoff battles with Bron and he really brought out the best of me. But I will say, I brought out the best out of him, too.”
