Gauff defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final of the 2025 French Open to earn her second Grand Slam title. The 21-year-old has since celebrated the achievement with several public appearances.

In a recent video shared by the United States Tennis Association on Instagram, Gauff shared how her celebrations have come about while also revealing her plans.

“Yeah, I celebrated the win. We went and got some dinner, and then we went out, had some fun. It was my first Parisian kind of nightlife experience, so that was super cool. Now we’re in New York, doing the whole shabam with the media and everything. Then I’ll go home and have a more chill, just kind of sit-at-the-beach celebration,” she said.

The 21-year-old was overwhelmed by the reaction. She shared a TikTok video later expressing gratitude for the love she received in New York.

"I just came from the Liberty game and, like, they announced me that I was there and the whole arena was cheering for me, which I wasn't expecting, just because I... It's not my sport. I'm at a basketball game, and it just made me realize, like, how many people see me, and this is crazy. And I really appreciate you guys," Coco Gauff said.

"In interviews, sometimes I try to hold the emotions back and, like, I'm right now trying to do it. But it just... like, I'm, like, feel tears come in... It just means a lot. So... thank you," she added.

The World No. 2 will now prepare for the grass season. She achieved a fourth-round finish last year at Wimbledon and is yet to win a title on grass.
