Martina Navratilova says she is ‘scared’ by Donald Trump’s actions after The Pentagon reportedly deceives the President amid America-Iran war

Martina Navratilova has spoken about Donald Trump after a report, claiming that the Pentagon had tricked Trump by giving him a fake strike plan amid the U.S.-Iran conflict.

Navratilova is one of the most decorated tennis players in history with 18 Grand Slam singles titles, 31 in doubles, and 10 in mixed doubles. Reacting to the news about fake strikes, she said that the country needed protection from Trump’s ideas. She also took a sarcastic dig at him, pointing to his past comments on Joe Biden and hinting at his mental decline.

Sharing the report on X, a user highlighted:

“The Pentagon fed Trump a fake strike plan the way you’d give the toddler a toy steering wheel while you drive the car.”

Another user said:

"When your own staffers feed you fake strike plans as an OpSec measure, you should not be the commander in chief."

Martina Navratilova replied:

"It’s crazy…the fact that our country needs to be protected FROM THE POTUS is scary, in fact. It sure, let’s write another book about Biden and his cognitive issues," Martina Navratilova said.

Navratilova is often seen at Major events as a commentator and analyst. She shares her opinion on social media and is known for her honesty about controversial matters.

Martina Navratilova has called out Trump multiple times in the past. She shared her opinion on his assassination attempt last year.

Donald Trump was shot at during a rally on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was speaking to a crowd when a gunman fired shots from a distance, with a bullet hitting his ear. Navratilova wrote after the incident:

"Of course- this was obviously a PR stunt- the day after the shooting he had no dressing on his ear… not even a band-Aid."

Donald Trump was elected President of the United States in 2024. He won the election and returned to office for a second term.

Navratilova will be seen at the Wimbledon Championships next week. She will join the BBC studio team, and tennis legends like John McEnroe, Pat Cash, and Tracy Austin, offering expert insight and analysis.

Navratilova won the Wimbledon Championships nine times in her career. She also reached the finals in 1988 and 1999 but lost to Steffi Graf on both occasions.
