Rosmalen Grass Court Championships 2025 Day 3: Women’s singles and doubles predictions ft. Bernarda Pera vs Elisabetta Cocciaretto | Libema Open

The Rosmalen Grass Court Championships is hosting some of the best players in the world this week. The event’s first two days have given fans a new feel about tennis on grass.

Ekaterina Alexandrova and Liudmila Samsonova are the top two seeds in Rosmalen. Alexandrova began her campaign on a solid note, but Samsonov’s match was suspended due to a rain delay.

Bianca Andreescu and Danielle Collins were also a part of the event this week. Collins was stunned by Greet Minnen, but Andreescu passed the test against Joanna Garland in the first round.

Without further ado, let’s look at the predictions for Day Three at the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships, also known as the Libema Open.

First up, Ekaterina Alexandrova will take on Anna Blinkova in the second round.

Ad

Alexandrova hardly broke a sweat while dealing with Mariam Bolkvadze in the first round. She defeated the Georgian in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. The Russian has been one of the most consistent players this year. After a title-winning run in Linz, she reached the semifinals in Charleston, Doha and Stuttgart.

Meanwhile, Anna Blinkova cruised past Katerina Siniakova in the first round. She outclassed the Czech in just over an hour, 6-3, 6-1. Apart from quarterfinal runs in Linz and Austin, Blinkova has failed to make a significant impact on tour. She will be eager to make a valuable contribution on the grass.

Both players have made a strong start in Rosmalan, but considering their results this year and match fitness on tour, Alexandrova will be the favorite to win.

Predicted winner: Ekaterina Alexandrova.

2) Veronika Kudermetova vs Greet Minnen

Next, Veronika Kudermetova will take on Greet Minnen in the second round of the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships.

Kudermetova had a solid run in Paris by reaching the third round in the singles event and the quarterfinals of the women's doubles competition. She started her campaign this week with a potent win over Polina Kudermetova in the first round, 6-3, 6-3.

Meanwhile, Greet Minnen has brought the competition to life by eliminating Danielle Collins in the first round. She humbled the American in a close three-set bout, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2. The Belgian continued her purple patch after winning the Birmingham Classic last week.

Considering their record on grass and momentum on tour, Minnen will have the edge in this bout. She should be able to advance to the last eight of the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships.

Predicted Winner: Greet Minnen.

3) Bernarda Pera vs Elisabetta Cocciaretto

Third, Bernarda Pera will take on Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the second round.

Pera continued her promising form in Paris by defeating Magda Linette in the first round. She outlasted the Pole in a thrilling three-set bout, 6-2, 6-7(10), 7-5. The American has a great chance to reach her first quarterfinals this year on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Elisabetta Cocciaretto ground out a tough win against Arianne Hartano in the first round. She defeated the Dutchwoman in straight sets, 7-6(11), 7-5. The Italian reached the quarterfinals of the Transylvania Open, which is her best result so far.

Ad

Considering their record on grass and results at the highest level, Pera will be a clear favourite to win. The American should be able to dig deep and eliminate the Italian in the second round.

Predicted Winner: Bernarda Pera

4) Bianca Andreescu / Carson Branstine vs Fanny Stollar / Irina khromachevaqq

Ad

Andreescu and Branstine stunned the talented pair of Anastasia Potapova and Ekaterina Alexandrova in the second round. They eliminated the Russians in straight sets, 7-6(2), 7-5.

Meanwhile, Fanny Stollar and Irina Khromacheva brushed aside Qianhui Tang and Makoto Ninomiya in their opener. The second seeds also reached the quarterfinals in Strasbourg last month.

Considering their experience as a team and skillset in doubles, Stollar and Khromacheva will be favourites to enter the semifinals of the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships.

Predicted winner: Fanny Stollar and Irina Khromacheva
