Coco Gauff’s French Open outfit: All you need to know about the American’s custom New Balance kit

Coco Gauff has been making waves at the 2025 French Open, not just with her powerful game but also with her standout New Balance outfits. The American has reached the final and will face off against Aryna Sabalenka in the title decider.

She has showcased two custom kits during the tournament, one in a light marble pattern and another in a darker tone. Both are designed exclusively for her, which is why they’re not available for purchase online, and no pricing details have been released.

Her walk-on look features a custom Vanson Leathers bomber-style jacket. Gauff mentioned that the jacket “matches the Parisian vibes” and makes her feel confident.

Underneath, she wears a unique marble-patterned dress with subtle blue-grey tones that stand out against the red clay courts. For warm-ups, she layers with a matching top, completing her stylish and functional outfit.

Further, Gauff sports the special edition of her signature New Balance CG2 shoes, released as part of the brand's "Grey Days" collection. These shoes feature a pale blue-grey color over the New Balance logo, while they have a creamy off-white base.

Coco Gauff garnered attention at the 2025 French Open not just with her tennis but also with her bold, custom-designed outfit from New Balance. One piece that’s received plenty of attention is her striking leather bomber jacket, which she wears during her walk-on.

She opened up about how the look came together and how it made her feel.

"Honestly, that was all up to New Balance. I knew the kit that I was wearing because we tried it on, obviously. But they gave me the leather jacket. I saw it this week and I was like, Oh, wow, that's fire… I think it's cool. I feel like it matches the Parisian vibe here, and it just makes me feel super powerful going onto the court,” Coco Gauff said in a post-match interview with Tennis.com.

Gauff also shared how she worked closely with New Balance to 'spice up' her off-court looks and hinted that even more creative walk-on ideas might be in store.

"I talked to them (about) how I always wanted to spice up my walk-on outfits. I feel you can do a lot because you're not playing. We talked about doing a leather jacket and we talked about doing other stuff… I don't want to say 'cause in case we actually do it," she added.

It now remains to be seen if Gauff, stepping out in her custom kit, can take it one step further and lift the Roland Garros trophy. After falling short in the finals of both Madrid and Rome earlier this clay season, the American will be hoping to finally go all the way in Paris.
