On Thursday, Indiana Pacers star T.J. McConnell and his sister Meg McConnell redefined sibling goals as they shone through with a heartwarming gesture. The siblings had a week to remember, with the Pacers guard debuting in the NBA Finals while Meg signed her first WNBA contract with the Phoenix Mercury. Both of them showed love to one another during their respective games last night, donning each other’s jerseys.

The Mercury’s official Instagram account shared a picture of T.J. donning his sister’s jersey during Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Despite making his debut in the NBA Finals at the Paycom Center, the guard took this moment to highlight his sister in a heartwarming moment.

“Your brother wearing your rookie pro jersey to his first NBA Finals game is such a flex 😎,” the capion read.

Megan later returned the favor during her team's game against the Golden State Valkyries at the PHX Arena, as she wore her brother's Pacers jersey. The Phoenix Mercury Instagram handle once again shared the image on their account, highlighting their sibling goals.

"Sibling goals 🤞🥹," they captioned the post.

Megan was seen re-sharing this post on her story, dropping a four-word reaction.

"Right back at you ❤️ @tjmcconnell," she wrote.

The brother-sister duo's support for one another seemed to come in handy, as both their teams picked up a victory. T.J. McConnell's Pacers beat the OKC Thunder to clinch Game 1. He recorded nine points and four assists in 17 minutes.

On the other hand, the Mercury beat the Valkyries by nine points, although Megan did not play in the game, as she is currently recovering from a knee injury.

The Indiana Pacers completed an impressive comeback against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, as they clinched Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Co. were in the driver's seat all game but were unable to take home the win after a "resilient" display from the Eastern Conference champions.

Pacers guard T.J. McConnell expressed his thoughts on the win after the game, as he praised his team's resilience and togetherness.

"It's a resilient group," McConnell said. "A team that just plays to the very end and have continued to do that."

The Thunder were defeated in the last second by a Tyrese Haliburton buzzer-beater, as the Pacers took home a one-point win. The two teams will face each other on Sunday for Game 2 at the Paycom Center.
